6. Information We Share with Others

a. Contractors

We contract with other companies (credit card processors, shippers, sweepstakes promoters, website developers and others) to provide certain services to myIPRM. In some instances, these contractors may have access to personally identifiable information but they are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the information and to use it only for purposes of carrying out myIPRM business.

These companies are usually prohibited by contract from using this information for their own marketing purposes or from sharing this information with anyone other than myIPRM. For example, when you submit a “product review” to the myIPRM app or site, your information will be received and managed by an independent contractor that organizes the reviews and manages that element for myIPRM. In some instances, you may choose to deal with some of these contractors directly and provide your personal information to them. b. Third Parties

From time to time, we make our postal mailing list (names and postal addresses only) available to carefully screened companies whose products we believe will be of interest to you. Your email address will only be used for the purposes outlined above and will not be shared with any third parties.

10. Internet Advertisements and Tracking Tags

We use third-party service providers to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet and to analyze the visits those ads bring to our app and website. No personally identifiable information about you is collected in this process. We may share anonymous information with this service provider in an aggregate form, for purposes of analysis of and improvement to our service.

myIPRM uses tracking tags, such as pixels or transparent GIF files (collectively, “Tracking Tags”), to help manage online advertising. These Tracking Tags enable Authorized Providers to recognize a unique cookie on your web browser, which in turn enables myIPRM to learn which materials bring users to the Service. The cookie was placed by us, or by another third party who works with an Authorized Provider.

11. Security

It is our intent to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you. We use a variety of current technologies and processes for protection of our customer data. We limit the information we provide to outside companies with whom we contract to only what they need to carry out their responsibilities.

Our site employs the latest SSL encryption technology to safeguard your transaction. When you make a purchase and proceed to checkout, all sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted behind secure networks via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases. The information is to be only accessed by a select group of people who have special access rights to these systems and they are required to keep your information confidential. Despite myIPRM’s efforts to protect your Personally Identifiable Information, there is always some risk that an unauthorized third party may find a way around our security systems or that transmissions of your information over the Internet will be intercepted. We do not provide any warranty or ensure the security of any data transmitted to and from us and will not be liable for any loss resulting from the information being compromised.
